See at a glance what you can eat today. The feast, the fasting rule, the icon of the day and your menu, always at hand.
Not sure what you can eat today? Pist shows the day’s fasting rule in plain words and helps you plan a satisfying menu for your table. Made in Ukraine.
FREE
A calendar of Orthodox fasts and great feasts for years ahead — on the New or the Old Calendar.
The home screen shows the rule of the day at once: dry eating, no oil, with oil, or fish allowed. The daily widget puts the feast, the fast day, the allowed foods and the icon of the day right on your phone screen.
Today’s menu takes into account the day’s rule, the number of adults and children, allergies, your cooking rhythm and the ingredients you choose. Swap any dish or add your own.
The catalogue holds 705 Lenten recipes: soups, salads and homemade bread, festive dishes, drinks and desserts. Search, handy filters, favourites, cooking time and allergen warnings included.
Also free: personal fasting challenges, a journal, and gentle reminders about fast days, the start of a fast, great feasts and menu planning.
The guide gathers the feasts, Ukrainian traditions and icons. Your commemoration list and personal notes are stored only on your device. No sign-up, no ads. The core features work offline.
WITH A SUBSCRIPTION
Plan menus for fast days ahead — right to the end of the fast. The app picks dishes by the calendar, your ingredients, allergies and the number of people at your table. Today’s menu stays free.
Open every recipe in full: exact quantities for your household, step-by-step cooking, useful tips and kitchen timers.
The shopping list builds itself from the menu, totals the quantities and sorts everything by store aisle.
For the first seven days after installing, everything is unlocked — no card, no sign-up.
ABOUT ACCURACY
The calendar supports the New and the Old Calendar and the Julian Paschalion. The fasting rules follow the Slavic practice of the Typikon; local practice may differ.
The app offers a practical everyday guide; it does not set your personal measure of fasting. Please discuss that with your priest, and consult a qualified professional for medical or allergy questions.
