• See at a glance which streets are free right now. A paid street that costs nothing at this hour turns amber, and “Free only” keeps it in color. • Tap it to see how long it stays free. • Share a car park with a friend: the link opens right on it.

• Spot the cheaper streets at a glance. The lighter a street's red, the less it costs, and when you zoom in, the price of one hour appears on it. • Beaune and Dijon join Mulhouse, Strasbourg and Nantes. • Tap a street, then “Directions” to get there.

• Paid streets on the map. In Mulhouse, Strasbourg and Nantes to begin with, a line along each side of the street shows whether you pay. Tap it to see the zone, the hours and the rate published by the town. More towns will follow.

• An idea or a problem? Write to us from Settings. We read every message, and we reply if you'd like us to. • The legend no longer cuts off any word, whatever the language.

• A more compact legend: the map's shapes are drawn small, side by side on one line, at the size of the pins. • In world view, tap a town's dot: the map zooms in on it, all the way to city view.

• A more helpful legend: areas, street lines and circles are drawn in the color of each state, just like on the map. It also explains parking lots with restricted access. • In city view, tap a parking lot: the map zooms in on it so you can open its details. • Tapping a parking lot now reliably opens its details, even when a free street runs alongside it. • When you look at a whole region, the map tells you if a filter only applies once you zoom in.

• Pins now take on the style of colored areas: a transparent fill, with the outline and symbol in the color of their state. They get smaller as you zoom out, giving the map room to breathe. • Shorter, clearer wording throughout the app. • When you create your account, you get our newsletter, one per version. Uncheck the box if you'd rather not. Every newsletter also lets you unsubscribe in one click.

• Parking lots where only the position is known now appear as pins in the detailed view, with the symbol of their state in the head. You see at once that it is a precise place, and the state can be read even without the color. • A parking lot's page gives the lowest known height, like the website. The open data the website already showed is now included, and a "Data sources" link credits all of it. • A small parking lot sitting on a large one now opens when you tap it, instead of the large one around it. • While you adjust a filter slider, the sheet fades away so you can watch the map react. • Remembered places: 10 on the free version, up to 1,000 with Premium. Those you have already remembered are never removed. The list is sorted by city and can be searched once it gets long. • Your profile gets an avatar and its color, and a level with badges that only you can see. The level goes up when another driver confirms your information. • On a parking lot's page, the username of the last person to fill it in is shown, with the date. You can remove yours at any time in Account, and report a username that is not appropriate. • In Account, you can ask to receive our newsletter, at most one a month.

• "Nearby parking" always starts from your location, or your destination, even after you have moved the map. The list no longer says there is no car park when there are some around you. • "Open access only" keeps car parks whose access is not stated. Only those marked private or customers only are dimmed. • Filters now also work on the city map, before you reach the detailed map. • The version number appears at the bottom of "About & data" in Settings. A long press copies it, handy when reporting a problem. The legend there is now shown in full.

• The button in the sign-in email can now open the app and sign you in, when you asked for the code from the app. This depends on your email app, and the 6-digit code still works. • On first launch, the map opens on your location if you allow it. "Nearby parking" recenters the map on you, or on your destination, when it is zoomed out too far. • "Find a car park nearby" brings the chosen car park to the center of the screen. • The legend now explains shapes too: a dot is a car park whose outline isn't drawn, and an icon shows whether it is underground or covered. On the map, a check mark replaces the English word FREE. • A car park's details put the height first, before the price, with very large text too, and its buttons keep their words whole, even in German, Italian, Swedish or Finnish. • On Android, the app stays in portrait like on iPhone, and filter sliders no longer get caught by the back gesture. Filter names are no longer cut off. • Offline maps list countries in your language, in your language's alphabetical order. And clearer wording throughout the app, starting with signing in and contributing.

On a parking's details, a line now sums up the essentials as soon as you open it: open access, covered, height, number of spaces, and price when known, with "+N more" when there is more. The three "What did you see there?" buttons stay exactly where they were. A price or height reported by drivers is never shown as verified information. Filters are now grouped by question: cost, access and hours, your vehicle, electric charging, comfort and safety, distance, display. The charging group is collapsed by default. The height slider is now called "Your vehicle's height", it used to read the wrong way around. The choice of base map, muted or in color, now lives in the filters too. The EV charging and height filters now also read open public data, alongside OpenStreetMap: the national EV charging point registry and heights published by operators. "EV charging", which used to show almost nothing, now finds the charging points. A tap on "© OpenStreetMap" opens the map credits and the data sources. Your account now holds a pseudonym of up to 32 characters. Emails now arrive in the app's language, with a reminder to check your spam or junk folder when the sign-in email is sent. Deleting your account now asks you to type a word, to avoid an accidental tap.

On a parking's details, the question "What did you see there?" now shows right away, with its three buttons: Free, Paid, Blue zone. One tap is enough. Your account now holds a pseudonym, visible only to you for now, and a My activity page that sums up what you have added to the map. New: an optional color base map, in Settings, Map appearance. Premium filters now start on "Any" and show everything. Once set, they also dim parkings whose information is missing. And the search and sign-in panels close with a swipe down.

Atlavo now opens in your language in all eleven of the languages it speaks, and so does the location permission prompt. An iPhone set to Norwegian gets the app in Norwegian, and a language the app does not know falls back to English. Premium adds two charging filters in France, fast charging and the charging network, from the national register of charging points. When Premium is given to you as a gift, the app shows until when, and no longer mentions a subscription to cancel.

Car parks mapped as a single point, which is how most covered and underground ones are recorded, now carry a dot in the colour of their state. They used to be invisible across a whole zoom range, and only their price gave them away. The nearby list, remembered spots and settings are now reachable straight from the map, without going through search. Two gestures that did nothing are fixed. The search close button now closes the panel when the field is empty, and the filters and remembered spots panels close when you swipe them down.

The map suggestion is now called "Find a car park nearby". Its former name, "Best bet nearby", did not say what it does. It still points at a single place, never at a list. The offline map banner now shows the data set date exactly as it is published. Depending on the time zone of the device, it could show the previous day while the offline maps screen showed the right one, for the same download. When someone reports information on site, the app compares the time of that report with the time of yours to decide which one is more recent. That comparison read the server time without its time zone, so it could be off by several hours, and by as much as fourteen at the far edges of the world. It is fixed.

Filters now truly filter: with a filter active, car parks whose information is unknown are dimmed instead of staying lit, so what remains highlighted is what is known to match. A note on the map explains it. Combining two cost filters (such as Free and Blue zone) now shows both, instead of nothing. Detail sheets now state price reservations honestly: paid car parks with conditional windows say so, and so do free ones with paid windows. The legend now explains each state, instead of only naming it. New advanced filter for Premium subscribers: EV charging on site.
