Letters fall one at a time. Stack them into words before they stack up on you. No ads, no accounts. How long can you keep the board down?
Letters fall, one at a time, down a board thirteen columns wide. Steer each one where you want it. Spell a word - across or down - and it lights up. Tap it to collect it, and the letters drop away.
Miss too many and the board climbs. Reach the top and the run is over.
HOW IT PLAYS
• Tap or swipe left and right to steer the falling letter. Swipe down to drop it.
• Three letters or more, in any direction, makes a word.
• A finished word is outlined, not cleared. Collect it when you like - or leave it and extend it. CAT can become CATCH if you feed it the right letters, and the bigger word scores as one.
• Cross a horizontal word with a vertical one on a shared letter and you collect both in a single tap. Both score.
• Rare letters pay more. A Q is worth what a Q should be worth.
• Every collect compacts the board, and the collapse can spell something new. It gets flagged, not taken - the combo is yours to find and yours to take.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
The letters are not random. Each round loads real words and feeds you their letters, shuffled. Everything you are given can be spelled. Whether it is depends on where you put it.
There is no timer counting down at you and no move limit. Pressure comes from one place only: the pile.
EIGHTEEN LEVELS
Level 1 draws three-, four- and five-letter words. Level 18 draws words of twenty-five. Every level holds one more word on the board than the one before it and drops them faster, and you climb by collecting words - across as many runs as it takes.
WHAT IS KEPT
• Every word you have ever found, sorted from common to ultra rare, in LEXICON.
• Your best score, on the device and on the Game Center leaderboard.
• All of it through iCloud, so a new phone starts where the old one stopped.
FREE, WITH ONE THING FOR SALE
A run costs a life. You hold three, and one comes back every two hours. Infinite Lives removes that gate for good - one purchase, no subscription, no ads either way. Hints are sold in tens, and given away for reaching word milestones.
BUILT TO BE LEFT ALONE WITH
• No ads. Not between runs, not for rewards, not ever.
• No account, no sign-in, no data collected.
• Works offline, on a plane, in a tunnel.
• One screen, four sepia colours and one amber, a monospaced typeface, and nothing that blinks for attention.
Typefall is a small game about a large tension: the board only goes down when you find something, and it goes up whether you do or not.
