Most of your life is quietly disappearing.
The way you talk right now, the thing that has been on your mind all week, the moment you finally decided to change something. You mean to write it down. You almost never do.
Vidjournal is a video journal. You open the app, tap once, and talk to your camera about your day. That is the entire process. A minute of talking, and the day is saved.
Paper asks too much of you.
A notebook needs a pen, a quiet room, a free hand, and the patience to write faster than you think. You have to translate a feeling into a sentence before it will go on the page, and by then most of it is gone. So the notebook sits there, three entries deep, and you feel a little guilty every time you see it. That is not a discipline problem. It is a friction problem.
Paper is also not private. It sits in a drawer that anyone can open. You feel that, even if you never say it, and you write a slightly safer version of the truth because of it.
And when you finally go back and read it, it is flat. Your handwriting cannot show you your face, or your voice, or how tired you sounded that week.
Talking is easier than writing.
You already know how to talk about your day. You do it with friends without thinking. Vidjournal just points that at a camera and keeps it. There is nothing to compose and nothing to figure out. As you speak, your words appear on screen and are saved with the video, so the entry is finished the moment you stop talking.
Your entries are actually worth revisiting.
This is the part people are not ready for. Watching yourself from a year ago is nothing like reading an old paragraph. You can see how much lighter you look now. You can hear the thing you were pretending not to care about. You get real evidence of change instead of a vague feeling that you are the same person you have always been.
It stays yours.
Vidjournal locks itself every time you leave the app, and opens with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. There is no feed, no followers, no comments, and no way for anyone to stumble onto your entries. It is a private place to say the true version out loud, which is the only version that helps.
It is built so you never lose an entry.
Every recording saves to your device the instant you finish, so it works on a plane, in a basement, on a dying battery, and on a bad connection. It syncs to your private Vidjournal account in the background, quietly, without you thinking about it.
It keeps you showing up.
A streak counts your consecutive days, a calendar shows every day you have journaled, and one optional reminder arrives at a time you choose. Enough structure to build the habit, and nothing that turns your journal into a chore.
Journaling helps people think more clearly, worry less, and notice their own patterns. The only reason it does not work for most people is that most people quit. Vidjournal is the version you will actually keep doing.
Start today. In a year, you will be glad you have it.

I’ve used other apps for journaling in the past and I found them cumbersome to use. This is so simple to use and with a reminder feature that helps me keep my personal commitment to journal as I wind down each day. Being able to easily look back and see what moved me and perhaps held me back is what I need you to improve my mental and physical health.
