Most white noise apps play you a recording on repeat. Every sound in Lull Fan is generated live, note by note, so nothing repeats over an 8-hour night — there's no loop point for your brain to learn and wait for.
And the speed switch is a real audio control, not a volume knob wearing a fan icon. Turn it up and the sound brightens and quickens, the way a fan's pitch actually changes as its motor works harder. Off, 1, 2, 3, 4 — a switch you slide, not four buttons to aim at in the dark.

This one is about your first night.
• Twelve sounds are open for your first 48 hours, not for a single session. Locking the phone used to end the trial and put the padlocks back on the fans you were in the middle of trying. It doesn't any more.
• After those two nights, two sounds stay free each night: the one you played last, plus a different pick every night.
• The shelf keeps its order. Sounds you've found stay where you left them, and new ones join the end of their group instead of reshuffling everything.
• Permission questions no longer greet you at the door. Nothing is asked until you've had a fan running at least once.
• "Watch an ad" now works on the very first night.
• The Lock Screen countdown no longer shows dashes where the seconds should be once the screen dims.
