A minimalist camera that reveals every photo in Prussian blue, the same 1842 photochemical process, with tones and grain inspired by real chemistry.
Cyanotype turns your camera into a small cyanotype darkroom, the photochemical process John Herschel discovered in 1842, later used by Anna Atkins to create the first photographically illustrated book in history.
Point, shoot, and watch the scene develop instantly in the same Prussian blue born from iron salts under ultraviolet light. The filter runs live in the viewfinder and is applied with the exact same processing to the saved photo, what you see is what you get.
THREE TONES, ROOTED IN REAL CHEMISTRY
– Light: a cooler, steadier blue, like the brown citrate print.
– Classic: a bright, vivid blue, like the green citrate print.
– Deep: the darkest blue, for what isn't visible at first glance.
