Meet Haita, your lungs. Quit smoking and watch Haita heal as your smoke-free days and money saved add up. Beat cravings with one tap. A slip never resets you to day 0.
Cho-Kinen is a quit smoking app with a twist: your lungs are a cute character named Haita. Stay smoke-free and Haita heals, while the app counts your smoke-free days, the cigarettes you did not smoke, and the money you saved. When cravings hit, tap one button and Haita talks you through it.
Now in English. Choose your country and everything is in your currency, with a typical local pack price to start from (United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and more).
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Quit smoking counter: time smoke-free, cigarettes avoided, and money saved, updated automatically
- See how many days are left until your next milestone (1 week, 1 month, 100 days, 1 year...) on the ring around Haita
- Haita turns back to a healthy pink the longer you stay smoke-free
- "Tap when a craving hits" helps you ride out an urge on the spot, and counts every craving you beat
- A timeline of general information on how the body commonly recovers after quitting
- Set a reward goal paid for by the money you no longer spend on cigarettes
- See the pile of cigarettes you did not smoke, and the waste and CO2 you avoided
- Achievement badges at every milestone
- Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show your smoke-free days, money saved, and next milestone
- Haita notifies you on milestone days and at a time you choose (at most once a day, can be turned off)
- Choose your app icon from 9 colors of Haita
- Haita's room: the money you save becomes Haita's money (x10). Buy furniture and park equipment, move to bigger apartments, and watch the family grow, babies included. Redecorate or put away furniture. At night everyone sleeps (and talks in their sleep). Seasonal event items too
BUILT TO KEEP YOU GOING
- No account, no sign-in. Works offline
- Your quit-smoking records stay only on your iPhone and are never sent anywhere
- Works for regular and heated tobacco: just enter the pack price and count
- All core features are free (supported by ads)
NO BLAME IF YOU SLIP
Quitting is rarely a straight line. If you smoke one, just log it honestly. Your total smoke-free days never reset to zero. It is not a failure; start again today.

Cho-Kinen now speaks English! Choose your country and everything is in your currency, starting from a typical local pack price (United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and more). Haita's apartments and seasonal events change to fit where you live. Also fixed the streak line on the home screen sometimes disappearing right after launch.
