New in 1.5: your car's own EQ. One sweep, and CarSweep gives you the number for every slider your stereo has — Tesla, VW/Audi, or plain bass/mid/treble. Does your car audio system sound muddy, boomy, or dull? CarSweep turns your iPhone into an acoustic measurement tool with the precision of room calibration software no complex setup required. Measure what your stereo actually does, and get the exact numbers to fix it. WHY CARS SOUND DIFFERENT THAN EXPECTED A car cabin is one of the toughest acoustic environments. Leather seats absorb high frequencies, glass reflects mid-range sound, and compact cabin dimensions create uneven bass peaks. Factory equalizers and DSPs can't fix what you can't measure. CarSweep reveals the exact acoustic behavior of your interior so you stop guessing and start tuning. HOW IT WORKS CarSweep plays an acoustic test sweep over Bluetooth, measures the response through your iPhone mic or an external calibrated USB microphone, computes the frequency response using high-precision FFT, and works out the corrections. EZ TUNING: ONE SWEEP, THEN THE NUMBERS No acoustic expertise required. Four steps: 1. Pick your stereo 2. Set the volume with pink noise 3. Run one sweep 4. Read the value for every control your car has YOUR CAR'S OWN EQ A factory system has five or six fixed sliders and a ten-band suggestion is no help when your screen shows something else. CarSweep knows how those controls are built, solves them together, and shows the same row of sliders you see in the car with a number on each. Profiles for Tesla Model 3/Y (standard and premium audio) and VW/Audi with MIB3 infotainment, plus the classic bass/mid/treble set that fits many common stereos. EXPERT MODE: FOR ENTHUSIASTS & AUDIOPHILES Full control for audio engineers, DSP tuners, and enthusiasts: - Detailed frequency response charts and target curves - Key acoustic metrics: delay, signal-to-noise ratio, RMS deviation - Parametric or fixed-band EQ recommendations - Band grids from 6 to 31 bands, or your own, saved by name - Export EQ presets as JSON for DSP loading - External measurement microphones (e.g. miniDSP UMIK-1) with calibration files LIVE RTA (REAL-TIME ANALYZER) Adjust your system while you turn the knob. Pink noise plus a live third-octave spectrum, with fast, slow, or moving-mic averaging to even out the standing waves of any single seat. FEATURES AT A GLANCE • Guided EZ Tuning — one measurement, then the settings for your car • Vehicle EQ for factory systems, drawn like the screen in your car • Expert mode with sweep generation, response curves and EQ suggestions • Real-time analyzer with 1/3-octave spectrum • External USB measurement microphone support (UMIK-1 and others) • Mic calibration file (.txt) import • JSON export for parametric and graphic EQ profiles • Measurement history stored locally on device • 100% private: no tracking, no backend, no accounts, no ads, no telemetry CARSWEEP PREMIUM (ONE-TIME PURCHASE) The free version measures from 250 Hz to 10 kHz, tunes the classic bass/mid/treble controls and covers 6, 7 and 8 band grids. One purchase, no subscription, unlocks: 1. The full range, 20 Hz to 20 kHz — subwoofer, cabin gain and everything that makes a car boom lives below 250 Hz 2. Vehicle EQ profiles for specific factory systems 3. External USB measurement microphones 4. Mic calibration files, and the larger and custom band grids Only the external microphone needs extra hardware. Everything else works with the iPhone you already have. Take control of your car's acoustics. Measure, adjust, and hear what your system can actually do.

NEW: Your car's own EQ. Pick your stereo and CarSweep works out the value for every slider it has — shown the way the car shows them. Profiles for Tesla Model 3/Y and VW/Audi MIB3, plus the classic bass/mid/treble set. • EZ Tuning is now four steps and a single sweep instead of six steps and three, and it ends with the numbers for your stereo instead of "turn the bass down a bit". • Band grids: build your own, give it a name, keep several side by side. Presets are copied rather than overwritten, and the editor is a list with proper stepping instead of a text field. • The guided flow now says where to hold the phone — in front of your face, at the height your head normally is. It is the question we get most. • Fixes: the vehicle EQ no longer splits one bass correction across two sliders; equal-height cards on the home screen; the apply button no longer breaks mid-word next to a long grid name.
