16.2.0 • Added purpose-based entry points for wide-angle nightscapes, Sun/Moon landscapes, panoramas and scouting photos. • Compare wide, normal and telephoto framing with representative Sony, Canon, Nikon and OM SYSTEM presets or custom gear. Try 14/24/35 mm, portrait orientation and gear A/B, and share saved equipment with sky, full-screen, AR and planner views. • Estimate fixed-tripod stellar motion using pixels or sensor-mm criteria, across the frame or a central region. Foreground focus uses a separate working-aperture and blur-circle estimate. • Plan a single panorama row: count, rotation, spherical overlap, exposure/setup/rest timing, sampled Galactic-equator coverage and twilight. • Manually align future sky positions with a photo from the same viewpoint. Move time and save the original photo, calibration and crop locally. HEIC/HEIF depends on the device decoder, without external conversion; undisplayable saved originals are retained. • Compare up to three candidates at a shared UTC instant or each place's local night; check terrain at the chosen instant and search sampled arch times by height and direction. • For selected Sun/Moon candidates, inspect background terrain, partial/whole-disc exposure, changes within 30 minutes either side and framing shifts over a few metres. Japan supports automatic region lookup or manual selection. Automatic lookup stops near map boundaries; manual region membership is unverified. Missing, stale or out-of-period selected times remain unknown; current reports are not reused as travel-date forecasts. Search for possible dates and viewpoints where the lower limb or centre of the Sun or Moon aligns with a building, tower or other custom subject. • For summits and tips, enter a target point and its elevation to search dates from a fixed viewpoint. A Mount Fuji reference point is included. • Sun searches do not apply lunar illumination or night-only filters. Offline terrain and an in-app user guide are now available. • Terrain covers Japan, including Okinawa and the Sakishima Islands, plus the Banff/Lake Louise and Yellowknife areas in Canada. • View ridgelines within 100 km and estimate when the Galactic Center clears the terrain. • Overlay terrain in the sky chart, full-screen view and AR, and explore terrain-aware shooting windows. • Banff and Lake Louise are included in the location list with local time and daylight saving time support. • Read the bundled Japanese or English user guide offline and return to the app with your location and date intact. Canadian terrain coverage is regional, not nationwide. At Yellowknife, the app explains that the Galactic Center never rises above the horizon. Terrain and times are planning estimates. Nearby trees, buildings and narrow valleys may not be resolved.

Refinements based on real use in the field.
