TONARIO is functional ear training built around movable Do. The tonic is always Do, helping you recognize stability, tension, color, and resolution inside a key—even when pitch height and timbre change. Build that skill step by step across 28 stages.

DESIGNED TO RESIST MEMORIZATION
Keys change by block and, in advanced stages, on every question. Timbres and registers change too, so memorizing “this pitch is Do” or “this instrument sound is Sol” is not enough. Your attention stays on the tonal center and on where each note wants to rest or resolve.

• Practice 100 chord progression patterns. Answer in Roman numeral scale degrees, relative to the tonic.
• Start with a fixed key by default, then explore key changes when you’re ready.
• Train with seven synthesized instrument sounds, including piano, guitar, and flute. Choose one instrument or mix them.
• Review items when they’re due, and listen back to the correct progression or its root notes.
• Practice at your own pace with optional time limits, plus fixes to playback and progress tracking.
