Clear Writer is a journal for Apple Vision Pro with one promise: the rectangle can go away, and it is just you, your words, and the room you are sitting in.
Open the app and today's page is already floating, cursor ready. No picker, no menu, no new document dialog. You write. Every word saves as you write it. You take the headset off. That is the whole loop.
THE PAGE
Your words are set in one careful voice, floating in your room. Choose what sits behind them: Clear (nothing at all), Frosted (soft glass), or Solid (a black page). The controls fold away into the date above the page and come back with a pinch.
VANISHING INK
When you want to pour out a draft, open Format and choose Vanishing ink. Your words fade a moment after you write them, so there is nothing to reread, nothing to fix, and nothing to judge. The page moves forward only. Every word is saved, and the whole page comes back the moment you leave.
THE JOURNAL
Your pages gather with the most recent first, each wearing its own opening line so you can find a memory instead of hunting through dates. Older months tuck behind a single row. Reread a past page in its own window beside today's. Name any page if you want to. Share one as plain text whenever you like.
NO SCORE
No streaks, no goals, no reminders, no badges. A journal that keeps score stops being a journal. Even the word count is off until you ask for it, and it never congratulates you.
YOURS
Your pages stay on this Vision Pro, saved as plain text files a person can read. No account. No upload. No analytics. Nothing leaves unless you share it.

Journal and Format now sit at the top of the panel instead of drifting into the middle of it.
Every panel has a close button. Tapping outside and pressing Escape still work, but now there is something to look at and choose.
Dictating in Vanishing ink no longer leaves blue correction marks on the page. The words stay invisible, exactly as the mode promises.
