Copy your result or clear it when finished. • Free light decoding runs for 30 seconds after the first signal lock. Premium removes this session time limit. • Screen Flash and Flashlight can now send complete messages longer than 60 seconds. Visible output still uses at most 7 WPM; haptic output keeps its 60-second limit. Start with one steady source at 5–7 WPM. Light, distance, motion, and camera timing affect reception. Camera frames are processed on-device and are never saved or uploaded. Light decoding is for learning and short messages, not emergency use.

A completely redesigned interface MorseScope now features a realistic, instrument-inspired design with dimensional controls, refined materials, clearer visual hierarchy, and improved readability throughout the app. Version 2.2 makes imperfect decodes easier to inspect, correct, and trust: • Inspect each time-aligned character with its original Morse pattern, local confidence, and exact detected time. • Jump between uncertain characters, seek the matching audio, correct one position, and restore the original result at any time. Corrections stay clearly marked and are saved locally. • Decoder Pro shows up to three timing-supported alternatives only when the signal evidence supports them; Premium session exports can include those alternatives. • Zoom imported-audio spectrograms from 1× to 8×, switch between the full band and a carrier-focused view, and keep the transcript, player, cursor, and amber evidence band synchronized. • After live listening stops, review the retained ten-second waterfall with Earlier, Later, and Latest controls. The base Character Inspector, correction, and restore tools remain free. Advanced graph inspection and alternatives are part of Decoder Pro. Everything remains private and offline; source audio and waterfall history are not saved.

Version 2.1 makes practice personal and repeatable: • Build deterministic receive drills from selected characters, pasted text, your locally measured weak characters, callsigns, joined prosigns, Q-codes, or complete QSO exchanges. • Choose group length and count, true character and effective Farnsworth speeds, tone frequency, signal conditions, and weak-character emphasis. • Save, rename, duplicate, delete, and resume a bounded local preset library. • Create automatic WPM ladders with a start, target, step, rounds-per-step goal, and required accuracy. Passing advances the speed; a missed target steps down predictably. • Restart a completed ladder from its first step and keep progress across launches without streak pressure. • Feed custom answers into lifetime accuracy, confusion-pair, and response-pace evidence without advancing Koch lessons or Today’s Practice rounds. A useful one-off selected-character drill remains free. Premium adds saved presets, advanced sources and targeting, simulated receive conditions, and WPM ladders. Everything remains private, offline, and available in English and Simplified Chinese.

Version 2.0 is a major expansion of MorseScope: • Meet Decoder Pro with a scrollable recording spectrogram, synchronized playback cursor, live microphone waterfall, manual carrier tuning, known-speed WPM lock, sensitivity choices, and narrow filtering. • Import WAV, MP3, M4A, and AAC; play and scrub recordings while following time-aligned decoded characters. • Reopen, rename, correct, restore, share, and export results from the new private on-device Session Library. Source audio is not retained. • Learn from zero with Morse Code Basics, Beginner Learning, Koch and Farnsworth training, Today’s Practice, guided sending, callsigns, prosigns, Q-codes, and structured QSO drills. • Send Morse through audio, Screen Flash, haptics, or the rear flashlight, and export WAV or M4A audio. • Use MorseScope in English or Simplified Chinese, with improved readability, accessibility, audio lifecycle handling, and decoder reliability. Core processing remains private and on device. Free foundations remain available, while Premium unlocks longer audio workflows and advanced Decoder and Practice tools.
