Prayer Journal & Bible Verses

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Make prayer a daily habit. Receive Scripture and a personal prayer for your season, reflect honestly, and grow closer to God. One quiet moment at a time. Make space for God at the end of your day. First Light is a daily Christian evening devotional designed around a simple rhythm: receive Scripture, reflect, pray, write one honest line, and light your candle for the evening. No pressure. No complicated plans. Just a quiet place to return to God each day. YOUR DAILY MANNA Each day, First Light gives you one sealed portion of Scripture to gather. Open your manna to move through Scripture, a short reflection, and prayer. You can adjust the text size, listen using text-to-speech, and return to previous evenings from your candle calendar. TONIGHT’S WALK Every evening has three simple steps: Read — gather today’s manna Reflect — write one honest journal line Pray — spend a moment in prayer Your walk completes through the actions you actually take. There are no manual checkboxes and no pressure to be perfect. EVENINGS LIT Each evening you show up lights another candle. See your progress over time, revisit previous evenings, earn gentle milestones, and choose a 7, 14, or 30-day candle goal. First Light is designed to encourage consistency without guilt. ONE HONEST LINE Your journal gives you a simple prompt: Where did you notice grace today, even for a moment? Write as much or as little as you want. Journal entries are stored on your device and can sync through iCloud. ASK THE WORD Bring questions about Scripture, faith, prayer, anxiety, doubt, or your walk with God. Ask the Word gives you a streaming Bible conversation designed to help you explore your questions through Scripture. Free users can ask up to 3 questions per day. First Light+ includes unlimited Ask. KEEP SCRIPTURE CLOSE With First Light+, you can save meaningful daily portions to Kept Close and return to them later.
