Search emoji and kaomoji in English, romaji or Japanese, then copy with one click. Favorites, recents and a global shortcut included. Everything stays on your Mac. Emoji Palette lives in your menu bar and lets you find and copy emoji and kaomoji without breaking your flow. ■ Key features Search that understands Japanese Type in English, romaji or Japanese. “neko”, “ねこ”, “ネコ” and “cat” all find the same result. Hiragana, katakana, full-width and half-width forms are matched automatically. Over 1,300 emoji and 200 kaomoji Sorted into 16 categories, with a separate kaomoji mode so the two never mix. A global shortcut that always works Press Command-Shift-E from any app. The shortcut is built on the Carbon API, so it works without any special permission. Copy one, or line several up Click to copy the emoji to the clipboard, or line up several emoji and copy them all at once with the separator of your choice. Favorites, recents and most-used The palette learns what you reach for. Star anything with Command-D, and jump to Recent, Frequent or Favorites with Command-1 through Command-3. Six skin tones Supported emoji can be set to any of six skin tone variations, either per emoji or as your default. Keyboard-first Arrow keys move the selection, Return confirms, Command-C copies, Command-F focuses the search field and Escape closes the palette. Japanese input method conversion works normally while typing. Your own keywords Add custom keywords to any emoji from its detail view, and import your own kaomoji from a file. ■ Privacy Emoji Palette makes no network connections. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your search history, favorites and settings are stored only on your Mac. ■ Localized in 14 languages Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Dutch, Polish, Turkish and Russian. ■ Supporting the developer is optional Every feature is free. If you find Emoji Palette useful there is an optional in-app tip, but nothing is locked behind it.
