You are one small square with one job: don't get hit.
Square the Avoider is a fast, reflex-driven arcade climber. Run, jump and dash up towers full of falling blocks, lasers, moving platforms, conveyor belts, crumbling ledges and launch pads. When the screen fills with danger, hold your nerve and keep climbing.
A WHOLE NEW LOOK
Every world has been redesigned. Platforms, ground and hazards now wear their world's colours over painted skies, the landing edge of every platform is lit so you always know where you can stand, and hazards are the hottest thing on screen. The HUD and menus were rebuilt to stay small, clear and out of your way.
125 LEVELS ACROSS 10 WORLDS
From the Learning Tower to the Final Ascension, every world brings its own palette, its own hazards and its own music. Clear the campaign and 25 secret levels open up beyond it.
TEN BOSS BATTLES, EACH ONE ITS OWN FIGHT
Every tenth level ends in a showdown. Each boss makes an entrance with its own name card, has its own silhouette, multi-phase attack patterns, telegraphed tells and original soundtrack, and gets a finishing moment when it falls.
ONE-THUMB CONTROLS
Pick up and play in seconds. Responsive touch controls that feel right on any phone, with adjustable size and opacity, or full remapping if you play with a controller.
EVERY CLEAR IS RANKED
Finish a level and the result card shows your time, your deaths and your rank. Go back and chase a better one.
CHECKPOINTS THAT RESPECT YOUR TIME
Fall and you won't lose everything. Generous checkpoints keep you in the action. Watch a short ad to retry instantly, or restart from your last checkpoint. Your call, every time.
MAKE YOUR SQUARE YOURS
Over 100 cosmetics to unlock: 26 colour packs, trails, auras, frames, borders and death and victory effects. Six playable characters, each with its own handling.
BUILD YOUR RUN
14 equippable powerups across one active and two passive slots, 4 unlockable skills and 19 permanent upgrades. Earn crates, chase 32 achievements, and fill a bestiary of every boss and hazard you have survived.
WHEN THE CAMPAIGN ENDS, THE REAL CLIMB STARTS
Endless mode for as high as you can get. Boss Rush to take on every boss back to back at four difficulty tiers. Challenge Towers with their own rules. New Game Plus if you want it harder.
REBUILT SOUND
Sound effects and music were rebuilt for this update, with a theme for every boss.

Smooth on low-end and high-end alike. Five graphics tiers, five colourblind modes, five accessibility presets, reduced motion, high contrast, adjustable text size, and a calm guided tutorial to start you off.
