Dronelix: Drone Exam Prep

Part 107, EASA, CAA, TC, CASA

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Dronelix prepares you for seven drone licence exams, across five countries and regions, in one app. FAA Part 107 in the United States. EASA A1/A3 and A2 in the European Union. The A2 Certificate of Competency in the United Kingdom. Basic and Advanced with Transport Canada. Australia under CASA. WHY THE ANSWERS CAN BE TRUSTED Read the reviews of any other exam app in this category and you find the same complaint: the answers are wrong. Learners score full marks in the app, then fail the real test. Some apps even give two different correct answers to the same question. Dronelix does one thing differently. Every question shows the rule it came from, by section number: 14 CFR 107.29, TP 15263 section 4, Regulation (EU) 2019/947. You do not have to take our word for anything. Look it up. Every question also carries the date its content was last checked against the current regulation, and that date is on screen while you study. If a rule changes, we push the correction to your device without waiting for an app update. READING THE CHART Chart symbology is where most candidates lose marks, and where most apps offer nothing. Solid blue, dashed magenta, a shaded band fading outward: each one is a different rule about whether you may fly there and whether you need authorisation first. Dronelix carries a sectional symbol reference you can read with no signal. Every airspace class, airport symbol, special use area and obstruction is drawn the way the chart draws it, next to what it actually means for an unmanned flight. BUILT AROUND THE REAL EXAM Mock exams run at the real length, the real time limit and the real pass mark. Sixty questions in one hundred twenty minutes at seventy percent for Part 107. Thirty questions at seventy five percent for A2. Fifty questions in sixty minutes at eighty percent for Transport Canada Advanced. Practice is weighted the way the exam is weighted, and the FAA changed that weighting in September 2025. Regulations is now forty eight percent of the test and Operations twenty five, so Regulations is what you see most of. A readiness score tells you the only thing you actually want to know before you book: are you ready to pay for this exam yet. SPACED REPETITION THAT RESPECTS YOUR TIME Dronelix schedules every question for the moment you are about to forget it, not on a fixed rota. Questions you find hard come back sooner. Questions you have mastered get out of your way. Ten minutes a day beats an evening of cramming, and the app tells you when ten minutes is enough. ONE PAYMENT The exam itself costs money every time you sit it. Part 107 is one hundred seventy five dollars an attempt, and a fail means paying again after a fourteen day wait. Studying is free: every question, every explanation and every citation, on all seven tracks. One payment adds the full mock exams, and it does not renew. You can study on a plane, in a field, on a job site, with no signal. WHAT IS INSIDE Practice questions written against the published syllabus, each with a worked explanation and a citation. A sectional chart legend and a METAR and TAF decoder that work with no signal, plus a direct line to each regulator's own published document. Full mock exams. Spaced repetition. Progress by subject area. A report button on every question, because we would rather hear about a mistake than let you carry it into the exam room. A NOTE ON THE QUESTIONS No app has the real exam questions, and any app that says it does is not telling you the truth. Regulators keep their live question banks closed. Our questions are written from scratch against the published syllabus and the official study guides, which is how every honest study product in this field works. Dronelix is not affiliated with the FAA, EASA, the UK Civil Aviation Authority, Transport Canada or CASA.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

The FAA practice mix now follows the exam blueprint that is published today, and every subject area it draws from is filled out. Five answers were wrong and are now right, with the paragraph each one comes from cited on the explanation. Corrections we publish reach the app straight away instead of waiting for the next release. The Study tab could fail to load and leave you with a message and no way back. It now offers to try again. Pick Dark or Light in Settings and the app keeps it the next time you open it.
