Sound and haptics, notifications, gameplay, social and privacy now have their own sections, and every switch actually does something: 11 individual sound effects, animations and colour-blind mode, chat filter, notification preferences and quiet hours. IN-GAME NOTIFICATION BANNER Notifications arrive with a new design. They never cut into a match and are held until a suitable moment. You can accept a friend request straight from the banner. STREAK ALERT If your daily puzzle streak is at risk we remind you before the day ends. You can turn it off in Settings. GIFT RECEIPT Follow the delivery of a gift you sent, step by step. MATCH EXPERIENCE Clearer feedback when power-ups are used, turn timer fixes, in-match info banners collected in one place, and voice chat invites that dismiss themselves. MAINTENANCE INFO When a game mode is temporarily unavailable you now see why and when it is expected back, instead of a screen that quietly fails. ALSO Tapping a message avatar in chat opens that player's profile. Emoji and icons now ship with the app and appear without a connection. On screens with a text field, tapping empty space closes the keyboard. Performance and stability improvements.
