AI provider refresh: • Gemini 3.8 Flash is available. New installs default to Gemini Flash-Lite for captions and summaries — the tier Google positions for translation, at a fraction of the cost. • DeepSeek preset now uses DeepSeek V4.1 Flash. OpenRouter gains DeepSeek V4.1 Flash and the openrouter/free router. • OpenCode Zen free models removed: Zen throttles them for third-party apps, which caused rate-limit errors. Paid Zen models remain available. • The model list now shows current prices and upcoming retirement dates.

This maintenance release refreshes the localized App Store screenshots. App functionality is unchanged.

Long-press the Summary/Transcript selector to copy the full summary or transcript. Copied transcripts are clean plain text without timestamps. Summaries now follow your preferred language more reliably when the source video uses another language. We also fixed the Summary label in Traditional Chinese.

Live captions now match DeepSRT PRO: tap the caption button to cycle through Off, Bilingual, and Preferred Language Only. Your choice is remembered across launches. Bilingual captions now place the translated and original lines together with no extra gap.

This update makes DeepSRT a much better viewing companion on both iPhone and iPad. iPad • Landscape split view: video beside the summary and transcript, with a draggable divider and a maximize toggle. iPhone • Optional auto-rotation follows how you actually hold the phone, even with system rotation lock on. It never turns the picture upside-down, and a lock button freezes it while you watch lying down. • Pro Max iPhones now stay in the phone layout in landscape. Everywhere • Playback stays stable through rotation and app switching. • Existing captions and translations are reused when returning to the app instead of being fetched again. • Captions stay visible while you tap or hold the video. • Text size setting (5 steps) for the summary and transcript. • Captions are sensibly sized when no translation is configured and sit closer to the bottom of the video. • Paste to play: a copied YouTube link starts playing when you open the app; pasting a link into the search field plays it immediately. • Changing the language applies immediately to the playing video. • API keys are verified when saved, and provider errors identify the provider that failed. • Refreshed free model lists for OpenCode Zen and OpenRouter.
