PodcastCodex: Fiction&History
Episode recaps & transcripts
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Back after a break? The codex recaps your show up to the minute you stopped, with zero spoilers for what comes next.
PodcastCodex is a podcast player for serialized fiction and history shows, with a codex that remembers the story so far.
Come back to a 300-episode drama after a month away and it tells you what happened up to where you stopped. Not the wiki version, and not what happens next. The codex is gated to your playhead, so it can never spoil an episode you have not heard.
WHAT THE CODEX DOES
• "Who is this again?" answered in one glance, mid-episode: the characters, places, and factions pulled from the episodes themselves
• "Previously on" recaps pick up where you left off, in text and audio
• Episode summaries for when you are deciding whether to listen at all
• Searchable transcripts: find the line you half remember and tap it to jump there
AND A REAL PLAYER
• Stream or download for offline listening
• Speed 0.8x to 3.0x with per-show settings, sleep timer, and smart rewind when you resume
• Search the catalog or paste any RSS feed, private feeds included
HOW UNLOCKING WORKS
The first five episodes of every codex are free. If your show is not covered yet, wish for it: wishes decide what gets built next, and you get a notification when it lands.
Unlock a single show once, or subscribe to allaccess for every codex. AllAccess starts with a one-month free trial.
