Oh! Mt. Fuji is a simple compass that shows you which direction Mt. Fuji is from your current location. Just point your phone—no registration or setup required. Simply open the app and slowly turn your phone.
■ Great for:
・Checking the direction of Mt. Fuji from an observation deck, a hotel window, or in front of a sign that says “View of Mt. Fuji”
・Finding out which side of the Shinkansen or airplane offers a view of Mt. Fuji
・Facing Mt. Fuji while watching the first sunrise of the New Year or a sunrise from a mountain
・Facing Mt. Fuji to offer a prayer, even from far away (worshipping Mt. Fuji from afar)
・Wondering, “Can I see Mt. Fuji from my balcony?”
■ How to Use
Hold your phone horizontally and slowly turn around. A Mt. Fuji icon will appear on the compass scale on the screen. When you are facing exactly toward Mt. Fuji, the blurred image of the mountain becomes clear, and rays of light shine through like a sunrise over Mt. Fuji.
■ Features
・Simple, intuitive design—open the app and start using it right away
・High-precision direction detection using gyroscope-assisted sensor fusion for stable performance, even indoors
・Available in Japanese and English
■ Please Note
・This app uses your location and your device’s direction sensors.
・Directions are based on magnetic north. Nearby magnets or metal objects may affect compass accuracy.
・Whether Mt. Fuji is actually visible depends on weather conditions, distance, and terrain.
・Advertisements are displayed, but they are hidden while you are facing the correct direction.
