"Memories of the Maze" is an idle hack-and-slash RPG that brings the world of classic 3D dungeon RPGs to life through effortless auto-exploration and text-based combat logs.
Death is always one step away. Fail a resurrection and you turn to "Ashes"; in the worst case your character is "Lost."
We have brought this good old-fashioned, unforgiving adventure to smartphones and tuned it for modern play.

◆ Effortless Yet Deep Auto-Exploration (Idle System)
Exploration runs automatically. Even while the app is closed, up to 8 hours of combat and exploration are carried out. Even when you're busy, you can gather heaps of EXP and powerful gear just by leaving it idle. The maze goes down to floor 1000.
◆ Hardcore Hack-and-Slash & Treasure Hunting
Gear dropped by enemies comes in rarities—Common, Fine, Treasure and Legendary—and even the same weapon rolls different stats. The hunt for the best gear never stops. Keep your finds safe in the "Surface Vault."
◆ Diverse Classes and Character Builds
Start as a Fighter, Mage, Priest or Thief. Meet the conditions and change class at the Adventurers' Guild to Bishop, Samurai, Lord, Ninja, Spellblade or Hero! Combine each class's unique skills to build your ultimate character.
Master a class, and "Reincarnation" awaits—your adventures carry over into your next life.
◆ The Tense "Resurrection" System
When your HP hits zero in the maze, you can ask a passing priest to pray for you. "Whisper, prayer, chant, Focus!"... If the prayer fails, you turn to ashes, and in the worst case you are "Lost," losing everything. Use your chances to pray again and overturn fate!
◆ Nostalgic Shop and Automation
Prepare at the "Bottakul Emporium." Auto-sell by rarity, plus auto-buy and auto-use of recovery items, keep the hack-and-slash tempo smooth.
◆ Tavern Enkidu
At the tavern on the surface, the keeper and the guests share all kinds of rumors. Adventurers can also leave "notes" for one another.
◆ Choose Your Tone and Language
Four world tones change the feel of class names and combat logs. Available in Japanese, English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese (Simplified) and Vietnamese.

[Important: About "Lost" (Permadeath)]
This game uses unforgiving, hardcore rules. If a resurrection fails and your character is "Lost," all class levels, EXP and equipped skills are reset. The gear you carried and half of your gold stay in the maze as "remains" (items in the Surface Vault are kept). A lost adventurer cannot be brought back without a rescue item. Please be aware of this severe risk before playing.
[Notification Notes]
・You'll get alerts when exploration stops (death, boss victory, ending, return to the surface, etc.) if Notifications are ON in the in-app settings.
・To receive notifications, also keep Background progress ON.
・On iPhone, we recommend enabling Background App Refresh (Settings → General → Background App Refresh).
・If you fully quit the app by swiping it away from the app switcher, notifications may not arrive due to OS limits. Progress will still apply when you reopen the app.
