FOUR LANGUAGES
Swahili: the national language, spoken by more than 100 million people across East Africa.
Luo (Dholuo): spoken by more than 5 million people in Western Kenya and around Lake Victoria.
Kikuyu (Gikuyu): spoken by more than 8 million people across Central Kenya.
Sheng: the living street language of Nairobi, a blend of Swahili, English and more.
Answers draw on current sources, not only on what a model remembers, so Sheng stays close to how people speak now.
