Hold to glow. Release to vanish.
You are a moth crossing a dark marsh at night. Holding the screen lights your wings and lifts you. But your glow is also the bait: the longer you burn, the closer the swarm hunts. Let go and you fall through the dark, unseen but blind.
Mothlight is a one-thumb arcade night flight about a single tradeoff. Light is lift. Light is the lure. Every reed gate, every thorn hollow, every spark you chase asks the same question: how long do you dare to shine?
THE NIGHT
- One control. Hold anywhere to glow and rise, release to dive dark.
- The swarm reads your light. Burn bright and it closes in. Go dark and it loses the scent.
- Sparks drift through the reeds. Collect them to push the swarm back - if you can reach them.
- Reed gates, top thorns and bramble floors weave a different marsh every night.
THREE MOODS
- Calm: a slower marsh for learning the wings.
- Classic: the intended night.
- Feral: fast reeds, hungry swarm, for players who want teeth.
THE WORLD BOARD
No account. No sign-up. Pick a nickname and your best night goes on the world board - one line per player, always your best. That is the whole system.
