WHAT QAPTO DOES NOT DO: MAKE THINGS UP
That is the real difference.
An assistant that invents a plausible ingredient from half a sentence is not helpful, it is dangerous – you only notice in the supermarket. qapto checks every card it creates against what you actually said and against the sources it has read. What is not backed up is not created.

Your content lives on your device and in your iCloud – not on our servers.
For demanding requests qapto asks the cloud. What goes there goes through as text and is not stored by us.
WHAT IT COSTS
qapto is a subscription. The subscription includes a monthly allowance of points for cloud requests – you always see how much is left, and you cannot accidentally trigger anything beyond it.
If you need more, you buy extra points. Purchased points never expire and carry over to the next month.

qapto is fast again on iOS 27: entries are saved in a few seconds, and nothing gets lost anymore.
qapto also understands times better – even when you correct yourself while dictating ("at 1, no, 2 pm") or your iPhone is set to another language. "Help & Contact" now works without the Mail app, and small text errors are fixed.
