WorkSet Fitness Tracker
Lift heavy. Eat right. One app
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
An AI coach built on your own log: session recaps, pre-workout briefs, answers from your history, meals logged by photo. Lifting is free; Premium adds coach + nutrition.
WorkSet Premium is an AI coach built on your own training and food log. It reads back every session the moment you finish, briefs you before the next one, answers any question about your history, and turns a physique photo into set targets. Snap a meal, a label or a machine and it does the rest.
Under it, a serious lifting tracker (free, forever) AND nutrition app in one, and the two halves talk to each other. Plus phone GPS for cardio, and encrypted web reports of 7–90 days for your coach.
AI COACH — with WorkSet Premium (30-day free trial)
• "How did I do?" — every finished session read back: what moved, how it compared to last time, how your sleep lined up
• "Brief me" — today's workout explained before you start, lift by lift, against your numbers
• Ask Your Data: "When do I lift best?" "Is my bench stalling?" — answered from your log
• Physique Assessment — up to 4 photos, development/proportion by region into set targets ("hamstrings: 7/week, try 12") applied in one tap. Compare two photos
• Log food from a photo of the plate, a label, a menu or your fridge, or just say or type it
• Don't know a machine? Snap it — AI names it and shows the setup
• Form Check (uses credits): film a set for a 0–100 score, ranked issues, fixes and correctives
• A weekly coach note, stalled-lift plateau check, smart machine swaps, AI-built workouts and programs
WHY ONE APP BEATS TWO
• One goal — cut, maintain, build — shapes both halves: your calorie budget AND how hard your training pushes
• Your calorie goal knows your training calendar: training days get more, rest days are never docked
• Weekly muscle volume against science-based landmarks — see undertrained muscle at a glance
• A protein floor that never collapses in a deficit, scaled to your body and goal
• The Weekly Report shows what no two-app stack can: what you eat on training days vs. rest days
• We show our math and our sources: every formula is published at district79.info/workset/math, and the study behind each number is one tap away
LIFT — free, forever
• Log sets, reps, and weight fast, with plate math and a warm-up ramp under every exercise
• Finish a set clean and WorkSet suggests your next load, snapped to plates you own
• Track a run, walk, ride or hike with your phone — live route map, pace, climb — saved to Apple Health. No Watch needed.
• Live workout mode: talking rest timer, Apple Watch companion, Live Activity with one-tap sets
• Follow a friend: one code and their workouts land in your app, kept in step
• Progress charts per exercise — working weight, volume, estimated 1RM, PRs, a PR Timeline and a Training Year grid — plus RIR, rest times and a deload advisor
• A streak that doesn't punish rest, and a 1,000+ exercise library with video
EAT — with WorkSet Premium
• Every AI way to log above, plus barcode or 66,000+ foods to search
• A live calorie gauge on a budget that adapts to your real weight trend and daily activity — tap "How it's calculated" for every number
• Plateau on a cut? WorkSet says why and suggests a diet break when the evidence supports it
• Recipes with per-ingredient nutrition, grocery lists and meal plans; import from Strong, Hevy, Cronometer; Health both ways
AI features run on Anthropic's Claude via our own server, only after you agree on a consent screen that says what each one sends; switch it off any time in Settings. Every AI feature is included with Premium up to fair-use caps; past them it runs on credits (included monthly, packs from $0.99). Form Check always uses credits, spent only on a real result. No ads, no account — data stays on-device and in your iCloud.
WorkSet Premium is a subscription ($9.99/month or $89.99/year) with a 30-day free trial. Use past the included caps runs on AI credits, sold in packs. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; auto-renews unless cancelled 24h before the period ends.

• Workouts feel faster: the live workout screen now does far less work every second, so taps respond sooner and it is easier on your battery.
• Weights now show in the unit you chose (kg or lb) across the app, including Home, Lift Charts and Day Analysis.
• Meal reminders now work properly: they arrive a little after your usual meal time, cover the rest of today, and skip any meal you have already logged.
• No connection at the gym? Text and voice food logs and the workout debrief no longer use up your daily allowance when they fail, and a note you type offline is kept.
• Food search without a connection now shows foods you have logged before, with a Try Again button.
• New in Settings → Appearance: Keep Start Workout on Home. Turn it on and the Start Workout card stays on screen instead of folding away as you scroll.
• New in Settings → Data: Share anonymous usage counts. It carries no identifier; turn it off and nothing is counted.
• WorkSet is now always dark.
• Deleting a weigh-in in WorkSet now removes it from Apple Health too.
• If your iCloud storage is full, Home and Settings now tell you, so you know new entries are not being backed up.
• The AI coach now answers in French, Italian and Portuguese, as well as English and Spanish.
• Many screens, messages, food descriptions and Siri answers that still showed English are now translated, including the subscription terms in Spanish, and numbers use your region's decimal separator.
• Restore Purchases now tells you what happened: restored, nothing to restore, or the App Store could not be reached.
• You now see both subscription plans, the trial end date matches your plan's real length, and prices appear in your own currency. Already subscribed? You'll see Manage Subscription.
• Restoring a backup with Replace everything no longer deletes your progress photos, Form Check videos or meal-scan photos, and it now brings back My Notes, DNF reasons and template folders.
• A run tracked with your phone is no longer lost if the app closes before you tap Finish: it's saved to Apple Health the next time you open WorkSet.
• The Lock Screen Complete Set button now completes the set it shows, and uses your shortened rest when you're short on time.
• Meals and workouts imported from Apple Health stay deleted when you delete them.
• AI features now tell you what they cost before using a credit, a credit pack bought on a new phone is kept when iCloud syncs, and a web report that fails to upload no longer costs a credit.
• "How did I do?" now speaks in your unit, kg or lb.
• Editing a workout keeps each exercise's own sets and reps when you remove or reorder exercises, and bodyweight exercises no longer add your bodyweight to the weight you load.
• Progress charts and PRs now count only the sets you actually did.
• Your Apple Watch now keeps measuring your whole workout, so you no longer get estimated calories with the Watch on.
• Workout calories without an Apple Watch are now net of your resting burn, the way Health counts active energy, so they read lower than before; a run your Watch recorded no longer counts twice in the day's total.
• Working weights and suggested jumps now credit a set you hit as planned the same way on the way up and the way down, so simply hitting your plan no longer nudges your working weight upward by itself.
• One-word exercise names like “Squat” or “Curl” now get their muscle group and count toward your weekly volume.
• Also: onboarding keeps your answers even if you swipe between steps; swiping a supplement off Today moves it to Not taking and keeps its history, and changing an Auto supplement's days no longer rewrites past days; copying a food keeps its servings; your protein floor no longer disappears after a body-fat-only reading from Health; workout reminders no longer fire mid-workout; shared workout links tell you when they've expired; the Food week strip follows your Week Starts On setting; and Lift Charts, Calendar and progress photos are quicker.
