Mac
On a Mac, each copy replaces the last. Slip is a clipboard history manager that quietly keeps what you copy, so you can bring any of it back the moment you need it.
• Recall with a double-tap
Press your chosen modifier (Command by default) twice, quickly, and the history overlay slides open. Press Command + a number key (1, 2, 3…) to paste it right where you are. Use the mouse, or the keyboard alone — your choice.
• More than just text
Text, images, videos, PDFs and other files all stay in your history — and come back in their original form. A file stays a file; an image stays an image.
• Keep your go-to phrases
Greetings, canned replies, frequent URLs. File them into categories and just recall them — no typing. History is automatic; the words that matter stay close.
• Find, select, paste together
Search your history, select several separate items or a whole range, and paste the chosen cards together. Or drag and drop them straight into any app.
• Shaped to your hand
Choose which edge the overlay appears from — top/bottom as a horizontal bar, or left/right as a vertical column. Tune how many cards show at once, and how smoothly they scroll.
• Privacy first
What you copy is stored only on this Mac. Slip never sends your clipboard anywhere. Copies that a password manager marks as “concealed” are never kept in your history. (The App connects only for App Store purchases, restores, purchase status and rating requests — and when you open the contact form.)
• Permissions for direct paste
Input Monitoring is required to detect the trigger key. Permission to send keystrokes (PostEvent) is required to paste a selected item directly into the app you were using with Command-V. macOS displays the keystroke-sending permission under Accessibility, but Slip does not use Accessibility APIs.
• Out of the Dock, in the menu bar
Slip waits quietly in the menu bar. It’s there the instant you press your shortcut — and nowhere else.
-- PRO (one-time purchase or monthly plan) --
The everyday experience is fully yours for free. PRO unlocks four more:
• Vertical column layout (left/right)
• Unlimited categories
• An expanded card count
• Unlimited history
• Lifetime Purchase: a one-time payment that grants permanent access. It does not auto-renew.
• Monthly Plan (Slip PRO Monthly): an auto-renewable subscription with a one-month term. Before purchase, the App Store displays the price in your local currency; prices vary by region. It renews automatically unless cancelled. Manage or cancel it in App Store account settings (Subscriptions in your Apple Account).

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
You can now use Setup Check to review and complete required settings if you skipped them during onboarding.
Improved how the Slip panel appears when you use it on another desktop (Space).
Improved paste responsiveness by refining image handling and moving save work off the main thread.
