Ink Log is an app for sending drawings back and forth with friends, partners, and family.
How It Works
Create a group with friends or your partner using an invite code.
Draw and send whenever you like. Drawings you receive can be replayed as an animation of how they were drawn.
A new prompt arrives every day, and once everyone has drawn, all the drawings are revealed at once.

- Send drawings
Draw whatever you like, whenever the mood strikes. Warmer than a sticker, easier than a text.
- Home Screen widget
Put the drawings you receive on your Home Screen and see them anytime.
- Draw together in real time
Everyone in the group can draw on the same canvas at the same time. You'll see each other's lines appear as they're drawn.
- Daily prompt
A new prompt arrives every day. Everyone draws and sends theirs, and once all the drawings are in, they're revealed together. Members take turns choosing the prompt each day.
- Your drawing becomes music
Every stroke you draw plays a sound. Enjoy your own drawings, and the ones you receive, as music.
- Replay how it was drawn
Watch any drawing you receive come to life again, stroke by stroke.
- Special brushes & colors
On top of the regular pen, you can use Neon, Marker, Dotted, and Rainbow brushes.
- Reactions
Respond to everyone's drawings with emoji.
- Invite-only groups
Use it with just the two of you, or with friends and family. Each group holds up to 8 people, and you can join up to 20 groups.
- Save to Photos
Save drawings as images, and the drawing process as videos, to your Photos app.
- Works on iPad
Draw freely on a bigger screen.
FAQ
Q. Can I use it even if I'm bad at drawing?
A. Absolutely. It doesn't have to be good. Your drawing plays back stroke by stroke, just as you drew it, so what comes across is the effort and the feeling behind it, not your skill.
Q. Will I be connected with strangers?
A. No. There's no feature for meeting new people. You only share drawings with people you know, connected through invite codes.
Q. Are my drawings public?
A. No. Only members of the groups you joined with an invite code can see them.
Q. Is it just for couples?
A. Not at all. It's great for couples, and just as fun with friends and family.
Q. Can I show drawings I receive on my Home Screen?
A. Yes. With the widget, you can display the drawings you receive on your Home Screen.
Q. Is it free?
A. Yes. The basic features, like drawing, sending, viewing, and replaying, are free.
