deorbit: earth zoom in
Satellite intro to real video
Only for iPhone
Free
iPhone
One tap. Your phone knows where you are, dives from orbit down to your
street in one cinematic zoom, and hands off seamlessly into your own live
video. A single share-ready vertical clip — no editor, no keyframes, no
timeline.
HOW IT WORKS
• Hold the record button: a real satellite descent flies to your exact
position while you frame your shot.
• The transition effect you chose fires — white flash, whip pan, glitch,
film burn and more — and your camera takes over, already rolling.
• Release. Preview the exact final video, then export straight to Photos.
REAL IMAGERY, REAL POSITION
No AI-generated scenery: the descent uses real satellite and 3D city
imagery of the place you are standing (or any place you drop a pin —
location permission is never required).
YOUR WORLD MAP
Every video you export is pinned on a world map exactly where you shot it,
previewed with a frame of your own footage — not the satellite zoom, so you
recognise the moment at a glance. Tap a pin to watch it again or share it.
Shoot the same spot twice and the pin keeps every take. It becomes a travel
log drawn by the videos you actually made.
MADE FOR REELS, TIKTOK & SHORTS
Vertical 9:16, platform presets with duration budgets, ten transition
effects with adjustable duration (down to a hard cut), photo slideshow
mode, and a descent that always lands where you are looking.
PRIVACY FIRST
No accounts, no servers, no tracking. Your location is used on-device to
aim the descent, and your map lives only on your iPhone. An optional
privacy toggle lands the video ~50 m away from your true spot. Map imagery
is streamed from Apple Maps (network required for the descent).
LAUNCH MONTH
Every Pro feature is free during launch. Later, Deorbit Pro (one-time
purchase) unlocks all effects, full duration control, full quality and
watermark removal.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Set the mood before you export.
A new Color correction button on the preview screen opens five sliders —
brightness, contrast, saturation, hue and warmth — over a still frame from
your own footage. What the slider shows is exactly what lands in the
exported file, and the grade covers the satellite descent too, so the color
never jumps at the join.
Exports now survive a weak signal. If the satellite imagery stops arriving
halfway down, Deorbit waits for it to come back — and tells you it is
waiting — instead of giving up on you. And if the connection really is
gone, your recording is kept and a single tap runs the whole export again.
Nothing to re-shoot.
