UpStep turns walking into something you look forward to. Set a step goal, invite friends, and watch the leaderboard do the rest.
STEP CHALLENGES
• Create a challenge in seconds: daily goal or "hold the average", 7 to 30 days, public or invite-only.
• Allow a few skip days so one busy day doesn't end your run.
• A live leaderboard, streaks and a shared feed where the group cheers (or teases) you on.
• Steps come from Apple Health, so your Apple Watch and other apps count too.
YOUR AI COACH
• A short morning message that looks at yesterday: your steps, your food, even the weather outside.
• Ask anything in chat, by text or voice — pace, portions, sore legs, motivation.
• A weekly recap that names the pattern instead of reciting numbers.
• Pick the tone you can live with: friendly, gentle or strict.
FOOD DIARY THAT ISN'T A CHORE
• Snap a photo of your plate, scan a barcode, or just say what you ate.
• Calories and macros with a daily budget that accounts for the steps you walked.
• See how eating, sleep and movement line up over 7, 14 or 30 days.
A STEPLING THAT GROWS WITH YOU
• Your steps feed a little creature that levels up, learns tricks and earns outfits.
• Send it on expeditions, pat a friend's pet, or line up a friendly battle.
• Miss a few days and it gets hungry — a nudge that works better than a notification.
MADE TO BE LIVED IN
• English, Русский, Українська and Polski.
• Six themes, light and dark.
• Reminders you choose, not a stream of alerts.
UpStep is a fitness and habit app, not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat or replace advice from a healthcare professional.

Nutrition, rebuilt. One daily summary at the top: the ring shows how much is left to eat, next to it eaten, goal and steps, below protein, fat, carbs, fiber and sugar. Four meals are always in view and an empty one suggests "like yesterday". The photo and add buttons are docked at the bottom.
Food photos are analysed in the background: snap the plate, leave the app — the result waits for you as a card. The add sheet now offers your recent and frequent foods with last-time portions, a meal can be repeated with one tap, and a deleted one brought back within five seconds.
"Body & progress" — one screen instead of three: weight together with calorie balance, a plain verdict on whether your diary agrees with the scale, metabolism, measures and water over one shared period.
Reminders about unlogged lunch and dinner, optional writing of nutrition to Apple Health (toggles in Profile), portion grams from barcodes and more accurate food matching from the database.
