A new 720p recording quality: lighter files that upload faster. 720p is now the free tier's format; 1080p and 4K, at 30 or 60 fps, are part of Suflo Pro. The recording settings show a lock next to the Pro options so nothing is a surprise.

Suflo now speaks four more languages: Japanese, Korean, Italian and Turkish. Everything is translated — the prompter, the settings, the Apple Watch app and the share sheet. VoiceFlow follows your voice in each of them, on the device as always.

Subtitles that already know your script. • Subtitles for the take you just recorded, aligned to your script on device. Export an .srt or burn them into the video. • A script assistant that runs on your iPhone: shorten a line, change the tone, or draft from a topic. Your text never leaves the device. • Memorisation mode hides the same words on every run and hides more as you raise the level, so you rehearse instead of read. • Import PowerPoint, Word, PDF and RTF. Speaker notes become the script, and every slide gets its own marker. • VoiceFlow now waits for your first word before it moves, and the play button stops it again.

Fonts, your way. • A new Font and text screen with a live preview of every change: six typefaces, six weights, italics, letter spacing and line spacing, all in one place. • Bring your own font. Import any .ttf or .otf file and read your script in it. • Suflo Pro has been redesigned from the ground up. • Deleting a script now asks first, and can still be undone. • Share text from any app straight into Suflo, and open the prompter with Siri or a Shortcut.

Full-screen camera. The preview now fills the screen behind your script, so what you read is exactly the frame you record. How far the picture dims behind the text is yours to set. The formatting bar — markers, pauses, bold, import — now appears while you write the script, not while you name it. Saving a take to Photos now tells you it worked.
