Bard lets you focus on the expression and takes over the admin — transposing keys and sliding capos, finding chords in the key and shapes for all of them, organising your takes, lyrics, and chords. What's left is shaping your sound, whether you want to start from some chords, from a melody, or by tweaking a sketch that we generate using music theory (no AI).

Writing is free and unmetered: sing a melody and get chords, the neck and its shapes, every tuning, every pattern, your takes and their playback, and the lyrics you type. A free song runs to a verse and a chorus, ten songs are kept, and ten sketches a week are generated.
Bard Pro is $19.99 a year: whole songs, as many of them as you want, unlimited sketches, and export. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, renews yearly until cancelled, and can be cancelled any time in Settings.
