This app gives you one question about your child and one small mission every morning. Answer the question. Do the mission. That's the whole app.
WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE
A question — something specific about who they are right now, not a form to fill in.
A mission — take a photo, shoot a video, record their voice, or just get on the floor with them for ten minutes.
Some missions leave you with a file. Some leave you with nothing but the ten minutes. Both are real entries here. A bigger mission arrives once a week, and a measurement mission once a month.
BUILT TO BE READ IN 2040
Every answer and every capture becomes an entry on a timeline, stamped with the day it happened and the prompt that caused it. Search the whole archive by word or by date. Export all of it whenever you want — it's yours, and it shouldn't depend on this app still being here.
Backdating is a first-class feature. Something happened last Tuesday? Log it on the day it happened, not the day you got around to it.
NO STREAKS. NO GUILT.
There's no counter to break and no confetti when you show up. Missed days stack quietly and expire on their own after two weeks. An app about your kid shouldn't be one more thing that's disappointed in you.

This is an archive, not a feed. Nothing to post, no one to follow, no audience but the person it's for. Their other parent can join the same archive.
Capture is built to take seconds, one-handed — because the alternative is not capturing it at all.
