CarTV is a lightweight M3U / M3U8 playlist tool, built for watching on the road.
SCREEN MIRRORING

WHAT IT DOES
All you need is an M3U or M3U8 link. CarTV parses it, sorts the entries into the groups defined in your playlist, and plays them. No account, no sign-in, nothing to configure.
FORMATS AND PLAYBACK

- Hardware-accelerated decoding, with a software decoder as fallback for MKV, HEVC and DTS
- Embedded and external subtitles, including tracks extracted from MKV
- Reads tvg-logo and group-title tags from your playlist

- Connect to your own Jellyfin or Emby server
- Browse your libraries, seasons and episodes
- Episodes are sorted automatically and resume where you stopped

A landscape layout made for a phone in a dashboard mount: oversized controls, large type, and one-tap switching between entries. Built for passengers.

Park by the lake on a quiet weekend, set up your fishing rod, and finally watch that old movie you've been saving. At the campsite, stay curled up with your partner after sunset while you wait for the stars. During a forty-minute charging stop, watch two cartoons with the kids or catch up on that movie you and your friends have talked about for ages. When the car is parked and the big display lights up, an ordinary wait becomes time worth remembering.

The app is excellent and works really well overall. It’s honestly one of the best solutions I’ve found for using video content through CarPlay.There are just two features/fixes that would make it perfect:1. Audio/Video Sync (Delay Adjustment): Some cars, especially Mercedes-Benz systems, have noticeable audio latency. It would be extremely useful to have an A/V sync option that allows us to manually delay the video or adjust the audio/video offset so everything stays perfectly synchronized.2. Mercedes COMAND Controller Support: The Mercedes touchpad/rotary controller (“mouse”) doesn’t seem to work with the app at all. Since many Mercedes models don’t have a touchscreen, supporting the COMAND rotary controller/touchpad for navigating and selecting items would make a huge difference.Other than these two issues, the app is fantastic. I’d really appreciate seeing these features in a future update!

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback — and honestly, the COMAND controller thing is on me. When I was working on the interaction improvements, I was so focused on touchscreen support that I completely forgot about rotary/touchpad controllers. That's been fixed and will be included in the next update.As for A/V sync adjustment — that's a great call, especially for Mercedes systems with audio latency. Fix the sound problem

There is an issue with certain channels, as they lack audio output. To resolve this, I must repeatedly close and reopen the program until the sound is restored.
