We started this update by saying, “Let’s just fix a few things.” A few late nights and several coffees later, we somehow rebuilt most of the app. NYCU LIFE 1.1.3 is here! The app now has a brand-new native interface, smoother navigation, a more comfortable dark mode, and proper iPad support. Yes, the big screen finally gets something better than a stretched-out iPhone layout. The timetable got some serious attention too. Your official enrolled courses now sync after you sign in, and you can view them by Today, Week, or List. We also found the bug that could freeze timetable scrolling and politely showed it the door. Course hunting no longer needs a pile of browser tabs. NYCozU course search is now built in, with course details and filters for semester, campus, and courses taught in English. We still can’t stop you from choosing an 8 a.m. class, though. Bus features are much more useful now: search routes and stops, save favorites, check arrivals and timetables, and follow vehicles on the live map. We also rearranged the map controls so they stop covering the part of the map you were trying to see. For supported events, you can now register, update or cancel your registration, and access your check-in ticket without leaving the app. We also fixed problems with returning from sign-in, loading events and bus data, cleaned up the Chinese and English wording, repaired Help & feedback, and added the Wish Pool.
