Pass your notary public exam with confidence. Notary Prep is a practice test and study app built for people preparing to become a licensed notary public in Texas, California, Florida, or New York — with more states on the way.
Whether you're studying for the new Texas SB693 assessment, California's CPS HR Consulting exam, Florida's notary commissioning process, or New York's Executive Law Article 6 exam, this app gives you real, state-specific practice questions, clear definitions, and realistic scenarios — not generic notary trivia that doesn't match what you'll actually see on your exam.
STUDY YOUR WAY
Swipe-through flashcards covering key notary definitions like acknowledgment, jurat, and notary seal requirements
Real-world scenario cards that walk through exactly what to do in situations you'll face as a working notary
A full practice quiz for each state, with instant explanations after every answer
BUILT TO ACTUALLY HELP YOU PASS
Questions and answer choices shuffle every attempt, so you're learning the material — not memorizing question order
Missed-question review mode automatically tracks what you got wrong and quizzes you on just those questions until you've mastered them
Your best score is saved so you can track your progress over time
FOUR STATES, ONE APP
Notary Prep currently covers:
Texas — including the new SB693 education and assessment requirement effective 2026
California — covering the CPS HR Consulting exam, the $15,000 bond, and California-specific rules like statutory acknowledgment wording
Florida — covering the notary commissioning process (no exam required, but real requirements around bonds, education, and Remote Online Notarization)
New York — covering the written exam, Executive Law Article 6, and New York's unique no-bond, no-seal rules
More states are being added over time.
STUDY IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH
Notary Prep automatically shows study content in Spanish if your phone's language is set to Spanish, making it easier to prepare in the language you're most comfortable with — while keeping official English notarial terms intact so you're ready for the real exam.
