It shows what it finds and asks which searches to add. Dates are off by default. On Mac and iPad, select text directly on the page and choose whether to mark that occurrence or every match the scan finds in the document. Add as many words, numbers, or phrases as you need. You can also draw a rectangle to remove everything underneath. REVIEW Review every match and marked area before redacting. READY Excise writes a separate copy, clears 14 supported hidden-data categories by default, reopens the saved copy, and reports Verified, Review required, or Not verified.
