PicoServer: Wi-Fi File Server
Fast file transfer to any PC
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Turn your iPhone into a file server. Pick a folder, tap Start — any browser or Finder on your Wi-Fi opens it. No cloud, no account, nothing leaves your network.
Your iPhone is now a drive.
Pick a folder, press Start, and every device on your Wi-Fi can open it — Mac, Windows, any laptop with a browser. Drop files in, pull files out. No cloud, no cable, no account, and nothing to install on the other side.
WHAT IT'S FOR
• Pull photos and videos onto your computer without AirDrop or a cable
• Drop files onto your phone from any laptop — drag, drop, done
• Move files between your iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows
• Hand a folder to someone in the room — they just open a link
• Connect apps and file managers that speak WebDAV
HOW IT WORKS
Choose a folder and tap Start. PicoServer shows a link and a QR code. Open the link in a browser on the same Wi-Fi — or point a camera at the code — and the folder is there: browse, preview, download, upload. Transfers run at your network's real speed, and your files never leave it.
BUILT FOR REAL TRANSFERS
• Uploads resume if Wi-Fi blinks — a 2 GB video survives a hiccup
• Download single files or whole folders as ZIP
• Live transfer speed and time remaining, right on the server card
YOU SET THE RULES
• Password protection — guests must sign in
• HTTPS with a tap
• Read-only mode for worry-free sharing
• Permissions per server: read, write, delete — your call
A SERVER FOR EVERY FOLDER
Run several servers at once, each with its own folder, port and rules. Start and stop them independently.
EVERY TRANSFER, ON RECORD
The activity log speaks plain words — "Logo-final.pdf downloaded", "Folder opened in a browser" — with the guest's address next to each line. Filter by downloads, uploads, browsing or errors.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything happens on your Wi-Fi. There is no cloud in the middle, no account to create, and no tracking. Stop the server and the door is closed.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Both devices must be on the same network. PicoServer never publishes anything to the internet — it has no way to.
• The server runs while PicoServer is open — when you leave the app, iOS pauses it, and your files are unreachable again. We consider that a feature.
• The free version is the real thing: one server, browsing, streaming, ZIP downloads and uploads up to 128 MB per file.
• PicoServer Pro unlocks multiple servers, WebDAV, HTTPS, password protection, photo previews, uploads of any size and log export — with a free 3-day trial, then a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
