Ever wished work came with a big red button? Here it is. Drop it on your desktop and cut the one live wire out of three. No real file is ever touched.
On the days work gets to you, have you ever wished there were a big red button on your desk?
Here it is.
Drop the red button anywhere on your desktop!
Press it and a door appears, opens, and a squad pours out to plant their gear across your screen.
When they're done, three wires — red, blue, yellow — hang from the button and your cursor becomes a pair of scissors.
Only one of them is real (drumroll)
Hold your breath, pick a wire, and blow the place!
Cut the right one and the squad sprints for the door. A siren, a countdown, and your screen goes up.
Cut a wrong one and they pack up: "The company is safe. Congratulations."
Take longer than sixty seconds and they leave on their own...
Which squad shows up is up to chance.
· Demolition — leaves holes in your screen
· Blackout — takes over the system and tells you to go home
· Freeze — the screen ices over from the top down
· Repossession — tags your screen with seizure notices
· Audit — stamps its findings all over your screen
After a blast the button turns green.
Press it and a cleanup crew erases every trace, closes the door behind them.
The button turns red again.
Nothing ever happened.
Your operation count, hit rate and best defusal streak build up in the menu bar, along with fifteen achievements to unlock.
Every pixel and every sound is generated in code. There isn't a single image or audio file in the bundle.
■ Good to know
· No Dock icon — it lives in the menu bar, and you can quit any time.
· Clicks on empty space pass straight through to the app underneath. It never blocks your work.
· Turn off any squad you'd rather not see, in Settings.
· Pick a button size: small, medium or large.
· Turn on Quick Start and the button deploys the moment you press it.
· English and Korean, following your system language by default.
· Collects no data. Makes no network connections.
· Requires macOS 12 or later.
(Except nothing is ever deleted. No files, no data. It all happens on top of your screen, in pixels.)
