VoxaVerse Beacon turns iPhones into a synchronized, multi-camera volumetric capture rig for 3D and 4D content creation. One device leads the rig; others join over your local Wi-Fi network. Every phone records simultaneously — RGB video, LiDAR depth, and audio — with every frame timestamped on one shared rig clock, so footage from every angle lines up in post, automatically. CAPTURE • Multi-iPhone recording with synchronized start, stop, and photo capture • LiDAR depth recorded losslessly alongside every video frame (supported devices) • Rig-synchronized stills: every shutter delivers a phase-locked sync frame (with LiDAR depth) plus a full-sensor detail shot, each with honest per-still timing metadata • On-device subject matte (optional) CAMERA CONTROL • Rig-wide manual controls: ISO, shutter, white balance, tint, focus, exposure bias • Exposure parity: the whole rig locks to one light interpretation for a take • Apple Log on supported devices SYNCHRONIZATION • Shared rig clock with a live quality readout — the measured alignment is always on screen • Software shutter-phase alignment holds exposure windows together across cameras • Hardware genlock with a compatible USB-C sync accessory (iPhone 17 Pro) DATA YOU OWN • Every take is a self-contained session package on your device • Standard HEVC video, with depth, camera intrinsics, lens distortion and exact per-frame capture time recorded alongside it — everything a 3D or 4D reconstruction pipeline needs • Copy a session off with the Files app or a USB-C drive; nothing is locked to a proprietary viewer • No account. No cloud. Footage never leaves your phones unless you move it. BUILT FOR RELIABILITY • Crash-safe recording: interrupted takes recover to the last complete frame • Thermal- and storage-aware: the rig warns before a take can't finish • Every technical readout in the app is a measurement, not a promise Requirements: iOS 26 or later.
