New look: dark court background, lime accent, screen titles and a floating tab bar. Apple Watch: A running match continues right away after the watch app restarts. No more tapping “Resume”. Sync: Watch and iPhone now catch up with each other on launch and whenever they reconnect. You no longer need to score a point for the other device to see the match. Workout: An ongoing recording is picked up again after the watch app restarts and is ended properly. The “Another workout is running” message after a restart is gone. Live: Points reach spectators even when the iPhone stays in your pocket and only the watch keeps score. Calendar: Days with abandoned or practice matches stay tappable, even before you have a rated match.

New in 1.2: • QR code to join — in live mode the code is now also shown as a QR code. Scan it with the iPhone camera and the app opens with the code filled in. • Matches in iCloud — switchable under Settings › Data. • Reset statistics without deleting any matches (and undo it again). Deleting matches is a separate button. • Workouts: the Health prompt now appears once on the watch, right before the match, instead of at app launch. If permission is missing or the match was under a minute, the app says so. • New look on iPhone and watch, light and dark. Please test in particular: 1. Start a match on the watch with workout recording on. Does the explanation screen appear? Does the match show up in the Health app afterwards? 2. Have a second iPhone scan the QR code — does the app open straight into the join screen? 3. Look at the app at a large text size (Settings › Display & Brightness › Text Size).

Change of ends The app now calls out when you switch sides and when the serve moves on — on the watch and on the scoreboard, in the serving team's colour and big enough to read from the bench. Status at a glance The scoring screen shows in the bottom right whether the watch is connected and whether you are sharing live. The live button now opens live sharing and nothing else. Shared results with the right time A shared result now shows when you played, not when you tapped share — with the real duration. And both teams are named, for whoever reads the message. Spanish The app now speaks English, German and Spanish.
