This update adds a Game tab to your photo library. Yes, a game. In a photo app. Stay with us. Shuffle 30 photos tumble onto a tiny board ruled by gravity — tilt your phone and they slide along. Look at one, tap to put it down, move on. Drop a few in a row for a combo. No timer, no score, just a pile of old pictures waiting for a second look. Find the Pair We line up look-alike photos two at a time. Tap the one you keep and the other goes to To Delete; not sure? Skip, and both stay. A small guide card shows up the first time so you're not left squinting. Covers that tell the truth The photo on the Game tab's hero and mode cards is now the first one you see when you tap in. No more bait-and-switch. A cooler shade of everything The whole app moved from warm cream to a calmer slate. Paywall icons and plan cards fell in line too; Pro's gold now stays where it belongs. Also · Weekly stats count what you actually deleted, not what's sitting in To Delete · The editor's result card now says Keep / Delete — "put down" was a little too gentle · Card-flip stutter in Find the Pair is gone, even when you skip fast · The Done button on the result page is tappable across the whole button, not just the four letters in the middle. This time, See U Later learned two useful skills: tidying up, and accepting “I’m keeping this one.” • Folder contents can now be organized on device into 13 categories, including People, Scenery, Travel, and Work & Study. Your system albums remain untouched—other people’s drawers are off limits. • Open any day from Monthly Highlights and keep swiping into the previous or next day. The whole month now flows together, with fewer calendars acting as traffic barriers. • Review gestures are now consistent: swipe left to keep, and right to set aside for deletion. Kept items stop returning for another “Are you sure?” interview and can be managed under More > Kept. • Fixed an occasional one-pixel line at the top of the editor. It was tiny. We noticed anyway.

This update is mostly about treating a photo like a print, not a slide. Albums, On This Day, similar piles, journeys — they all open the same memory editor now. Photos sit on a card. Place names speak the language you picked. A Live Photo that arrives with you only hints; tap LIVE if you want the whole moment. Videos start quiet, the progress line lives on the picture, and the mute button finally agrees with the speaker. Home got a little kinder too. Closing a folder doesn’t hitch. The calendar no longer steals the tab bar’s seat on the way in or out. Travel map pins used to redraw themselves into a sweat; they now behave like stickers. You won’t miss the overtime. In Memories, screen-shaped stills fill the page the way vertical videos already did. Fair’s fair. We also walked a few leftover policies to the door. They will not be in the group chat.

What's New › We did a lot this time. We'll talk fast. Home got a new face. The categories used to be a row of cards; now they're a row of folders that flip open into their photos. Three finishes to pick from: Tray, Rounded, and Classic. Tray is the default, Rounded is free to switch to, and Classic took the most work, so it's reserved for Pro members. Sorry. Press and slide a folder to change its colour. First-timers get a palette out of the box, so it isn't a wall of white paper. A new "Clear" button. In Types, This Month's Picks, and On This Day, one tap sends the whole list to the deletion queue. Don't panic: queued isn't deleted. There's an undo, and you still make the final call. The deletion queue moved. It now lives in the top-right corner of both Home and More. Same door everywhere. Similar & Duplicates learned two tricks. One: it's faster, looking at several photos at once instead of queuing them up. Two: if you kill the app mid-scan, it picks up where it left off next time instead of starting over. It also politely steps aside while you're scrolling the feed, so your photos and videos keep the fast lane. The feed repeats itself less. Photos from one trip used to show up in a clump. It's learned to mix things up. Also fixed: Home titles not following a language change, the language sheet popping up twice, and the space-cleaned number in More doing its own math. We did one thing this time, but we did it properly. Travel Footprints used to have a bad habit. You would spend a week crossing Guizhou — Guiyang, Huangguoshu, Libo, Xijiang, all of it — and it would notice only the place you had photographed most, pile all seven hundred-odd photos onto that single point, and then confidently name the entire trip after it. Everywhere else you went went unmentioned. It knows better now. A trip that covered several places becomes several journeys, each with its own name, cover and dates. Everywhere you went is finally on the map. We refreshed the analysis cache while we were at it, so everything is recalculated once you update. Nothing for you to do. "Other Albums" got a makeover Every album used to look identical, which made browsing feel like staring at a supermarket shelf. Now each one is laid out as a mosaic sized by how many photos it holds, so the heavyweights are obvious at a glance. We also made the navigation bars agree with each other — a few screens had been having their own opinions about what a header should look like. We found some travel that had gone missing Someone spent a few days around Guiyang, went home to Hangzhou, and discovered the whole trip had vanished from the map. It turned out we were mistaking "a place you stayed at for a while" for "home", and photos near home never count as travel. So the trip was quietly erased by our own logic. It can now tell the difference between somewhere you keep returning to and somewhere you simply stayed. Your missing trips should be back. Share posters stick to your own numbers The stats on your poster now count your photos and nothing else. Posters speak your language Switch languages and the poster follows along, instead of lagging one step behind. Smoother scrolling Fixed how albums and screenshots decide it's time to load the next batch, so scrolling snags less often.
