In Mall Rescue: Zombie Escape Team, you walk into a shopping mall that's been dark and empty for weeks — flashlight cutting through dust and broken glass, past collapsed escalators and shutters pulled halfway down over looted stores. Somewhere past the food court, a sound stops you. Behind a toppled shelf: three people who never made it out. An injured man barely upright. A woman keeping watch. A third too rattled to speak. You hand over the medicine before anything else, because right now that matters more than what you could scavenge for yourself. The plan is simple and fragile — move the group, room by room, toward the security room, the one place in the mall still sealed off from whatever's outside.
It doesn't stay quiet for long. The generators fail. The lights cut out section by section until only red emergency strips remain. The pounding at the main entrance turns into cracking glass, then a full break-in — the infected pouring through the doorway the survivors were huddled fifty feet from. You grab whatever's within reach and plant yourself between them and the group. From here, it's on you: fight through what's coming, and get your people out.
Kill zombies in close-quarters melee combat using whatever's within reach — a pipe, a bat, a fire extinguisher off the wall. Rescue trapped survivors scattered through the mall's stores and hallways, and escort them room by room, defending the group when the infected close in and holding doorways when there's nowhere left to fall back. Scavenge shelves, counters, and drawers for food, medicine, and flashlight power to keep your team standing, and stay aware that every fight and every footstep can pull more of the infected toward you. Push from checkpoint to checkpoint — a barricaded door, a stabilized survivor, a room cleared just long enough to breathe — on your way to the security room.
Kill what's in your way. Rescue who you can. Get your group to the security room — together, or not at all.
