For your first backyard ultra, Backyard keeps every loop and break on schedule, warns you about the cutoff and tells you when to start again. Taking part in your first backyard ultra? Backyard App is made for you. It keeps the official loop schedule on your Apple Watch, helping you reach the finish line before the cutoff and be ready for every new start. During each loop, you can see the time, distance, average pace and heart rate. The app estimates how much break you are on track to earn. If your pace puts the cutoff at risk, a clear red warning lets you know immediately. With Auto Loop enabled, there is nothing to tap at the finish: the loop is recorded when the watch measures the configured distance. Prefer manual control? You can bank each loop yourself. During your break, a countdown shows exactly when the next loop starts. Haptic alerts warn you at five minutes, two minutes, one minute, ten seconds and at the start, so you know when to get ready and when to go. Backyard App also counts completed loops, total time and distance, and shows your previous loop. It saves an outdoor running workout in Apple Health, with an optional route. The standard setup is ready for a backyard ultra: 6.706 km / 4.167 mi every 60 minutes. You can also change the distance, time window, units and maximum number of loops. Requires Apple Watch Series 6 or later, SE 2 or later, or any Ultra with watchOS 11 or later.
