Native support for your Kodak E1030 scanner on your Mac. No account, no network. Scanora drives the KODAK E1030 directly over USB. Load the stack, press Scan, both sides in one pass — out comes a PDF. WHAT HAPPENS TO EVERY SHEET • Found and measured. The page is located in the sensor image rather than assumed: A4 comes out exactly A4, and a till receipt keeps its own size. • Straightened. The angle is measured from the writing and turned back. Paper never quite goes in square. • Whitened. White balance, and optionally near-white areas are pulled to pure white: the grain goes and the file gets much smaller. • Read. Text recognition runs on your Mac. The PDF is searchable, and the text can be selected and copied. PROFILES, ON THE DEVICE TOO Up to nine profiles, each with its own folder, its own file-name pattern and its own scan settings. The count is sent to the scanner: choose the profile on the device's display and Scanora follows. File names are built from date, time, a running number and the profile name, however you arrange them. WHAT SCANORA DOES NOT DO No sign-in, no account, no cloud. The app opens no network connection at all — it does not even hold the entitlement to do so. Your documents stay on your Mac. WHAT YOU NEED A KODAK E1030. Without one, Scanora cannot scan. So you can see what it does beforehand, a built-in demonstration draws two sample sheets and sends them through the same processing a real stack gets — measuring, straightening, text recognition, PDF.
