SiteProwl is a technical SEO crawler and site auditor for your Mac — a fast desktop spider paired with Google PageSpeed Insights speed testing, in one native app. Crawl any website and instantly see the technical issues holding its SEO back: • Crawl engine — follows internal links, respects robots.txt, and reports response codes (2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx), redirects, redirect chains, and indexability with reasons. • On-page SEO — titles, meta descriptions, H1/H2, canonicals, meta robots, word count, images and missing alt text, hreflang, and JSON-LD structured data. • Prioritised issues — a live sidebar with counts: missing, duplicate or too-long titles and descriptions, missing or multiple H1s, missing canonicals, missing alt text, thin content, and more. • Total page weight — the real weight of every page, with images, CSS, JS and fonts attributed back and a heavy-page flag, so you can see what's slowing pages down. • Speed testing — run Google PageSpeed Insights (cloud Lighthouse) on any page in mobile and desktop profiles, and track Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO scores. • Compare over time — re-crawl later and see exactly what changed, including Lighthouse score changes per URL. • More — XML sitemap generation and orphan detection, a visual site-link graph, Google Search Console and GA4 data merged into the crawl, custom extraction (CSS or regex), and CSV/JSON export.
