COVERAGE ZONES Pick the coverage you're facing — Cover 0 through Cover 4, or 2-Man — and the zones draw right on the field. They come through on your playbook PDFs and on any play you share as a GIF or video, so your staff sees the same picture you do. APP ICON Twenty-four icons, one for every team color. Settings → App Icon. Pick any one you want — it doesn't have to match your team color. SLOW MOTION Run a play at half or quarter speed when you're walking a kid through his route. WRISTBAND INSERTS Rebuilt. One card per package, two columns, twenty-two plays to a band, numbered straight through so a called number is always in one unbroken run. FIXES Editing a play no longer sends it to the bottom of your playbook.

DEPTH CHART Build your roster once, set who plays where, and share it with your coaching staff. Add a whole special teams unit at a time — kickoff, punt, field goal — and see at a glance who you haven't slotted in anywhere yet. You can also build your roster at theplaybookfootball.app on a laptop, which is a lot faster than typing twenty-five names on a phone, and print the whole chart as a PDF for the sideline. RUN PRACTICE A countdown clock for your practice plan. Buzzes between periods, rolls straight into the next one, keeps the screen awake, and always shows how much time you have left. ASSISTANT COACHES CAN COACH Coaches can now design and edit plays, not just view them. Bigger, easier buttons on the home screen. More room to build your playbook before you're asked to upgrade. Fixed: a game plan or practice plan could vanish right after you created it. Fixed: renaming a playbook or a plan sometimes didn't stick. Fixed: the New Post screen hung after you tapped Post.

Coaches now get a notification the moment something is posted to the team board. Fixed a rename that sometimes didn't stick on game plans and practice plans, and the New Post screen no longer hangs after you tap Post. Behind the scenes: joining a team is now more secure.

Your staff shares game plans and practice plans now. Build a call sheet on your phone and your coordinator has it on his — players never see either one. Build your own formations. Offense, defense or special teams: line your men up the way you want and save it, right from the formations screen. Deleted a formation you needed? It's in Recently Deleted now, and the stock ones can be restored any time.
