Zettelwirtschaft is a receipt and expense app for freelancers and businesses in Austria and Germany. Scan receipts, keep a mileage logbook, settle trips — and hand your accountant a package they can actually import. By default, nothing leave your device. No account, no sign-up, no cloud sync. Backups are encrypted with your passphrase — we could not open one either. There is no account, because there is no server for one to live on. Two features can open a connection, and only if you explicitly allow it: renewing a licence issued by your accountant, and place search in the logbook. Both are off out of the box, both explain exactly what would be sent before anything is, and both keep working if you say no. TRY IT Five scans to try it out, once.
