Knithub is a colorwork chart designer for knitters.
Design your chart stitch by stitch on an intuitive pixel grid, with as many colours as your pattern needs. Zoom, pan and paint directly on the canvas, the editor is built for a phone screen, not squeezed onto one.
See it before you knit it
Preview any chart on real knitwear (a sweater, a beanie, mittens or socks) and see how your colorwork will actually sit on the garment before you cast on.
Start from a photo
Turn a photo into a starting chart. Pick an image, choose how many colours to reduce it to, and the app builds the grid for you to refine.
Share with the community
Publish your charts so other knitters can discover them, or keep them private while you work.
Browse what other people are making, follow designers whose work you like, comment, and gather charts into collections for later.
Knit from your chart
Follow along row by row in knitting mode, with the current row highlighted and the rest dimmed, so you never lose your place mid-round.
Knithub is available in 12 languages: English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Icelandic, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
Knithub is free to use. Knithub Pro is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly, that adds unlimited charts and previews, knitting mode on any chart, duplicating any chart, PDF export and every chart editor feature. An account is needed to create and save charts; browsing published charts is open to everyone.
