No account. No bank login. Your ledger is written to this device and stays there — which is why Ember can promise what most finance apps cannot: nobody else ever sees what you spend.
LOG IT IN THREE SECONDS
Open, type the amount, tap a category. That is the whole interaction. The keypad is where your thumb already is, and the categories you use most move to the front on their own.
OR JUST SAY IT
"Forty at the supermarket and twelve on petrol." Ember writes both rows, picks the categories and shows you what it understood before anything is saved. Nothing is stored on the server — only the sentence you spoke is sent, and it is forgotten the moment it is read.

Set up the shortcut once and paying with your iPhone logs the amount and the shop. All you add is what it was for.
SEE WHERE IT WENT
Budgets that show you the line before you cross it. A chart ranked by what deserves your attention rather than by what is biggest. Your balance, the month's spending and the month's income, in the first half second.

Ember organizes your spending. It does not give financial advice, it will not connect to your bank, and it will never sell what it knows about you — because it does not know it. Your money data never leaves this phone.
SUBSCRIPTION
Ember is a subscription based app. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel it in Settings at any time. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
