On its flight day Flugwacht shows you where the flight is and roughly when it arrives: on the map, and as a Live Activity on your Lock Screen. No account, no ads. Flugwacht lets you easily follow the flights your friends and family are on. Enter the flight number and the day of departure. The flight then shows up in the app, and on your Lock Screen as a Live Activity if you want it there. Ideal on a day when friends or family are flying: a quick look at where the plane is right now, and roughly how much longer it will be until they arrive. What makes Flugwacht special? - No ads, no premium features, no account. It's free and open source. - It uses free data sources like adsb.fi or adsb.lol. - Privacy by design: apart from the requests to the data sources, no data leaves your device. What can't Flugwacht do? - Track every flight in the sky: only the flights you add yourself show up in the app. - Notifications to the minute: that would mean putting the data on a server, and we don't want that. Flugwacht still tries to send you a notification before a flight lands. - Flugwacht is not meant for tracking your own flight, so it can't tell you anything about your gate or any other airline-specific information. Flugwacht answers exactly one question: "Where is my family's flight right now?" And you are exactly one tap away from the answer.
